Call for young volunteers interested in human rights

The WCIA is recruiting 16-25-year-old volunteers to work in a team with refugees to run a series of events on human rights in a new Cardiff-based project.

Two charities, The Welsh Centre for International Affairs (WCIA) and Oasis Cardiff will support a team of volunteers to run a high quality human-rights themed event programme in the autumn in Cardiff 2017

The volunteers, ten 16-25 year-olds and ten refugees and asylum seekers from Oasis Cardiff, will plan, deliver and evaluate a series of events to raise awareness of the issues that matter to them, while learning a range of skills.

This is s a great opportunity for volunteers to gain project and event management skills, work as a team and to raise awareness among the public of the issues that matter to them.

The project is funded by the People's Postcode Trust a grant-giving charity funded entirely by the players of People's Postcode Lottery.
