Hub Cymru Africa

We are delighted to announce that Cat Jones has been appointed as the Head of the new Hub Cymru Africa, starting in April 2015.

The partnership is to be funded for three years by the Welsh Governments Wales for Africa programme, following a successful bid led by the Welsh Centre for International Affairs.

It brings together the WCIA and four of Wales leading international and volunteering networks Fair Trade Wales, Wales for Africa Health Links Network, Sub-Sahara Advisory Panel and Wales Council for Voluntary Action into one new and exciting programme.

The pioneering work currently delivered through the Wales Africa Community Links scheme and the Wales International Development Hub (which the WCIA has proudly hosted since 2012) will merge into the new Partnership in order to deliver a more powerful and integrated programme.
