Shared Learning Events

Shared Learning Events are opportunities for Wales-Africa and Fair Trade groups/organisations and individuals to come together and learn from each other’s experiences. Hub Cymru Africa (and its partner organisations) will facilitate these events, which will focus on different themes.

They will usually be around 3-4 hours and consist of presentations from 3-4 Welsh groups – who will share their experiences and learning – followed by question and answers, and some general discussion. Where relevant, external experts or representatives from large organisations will also be invited to offer information and advice.

The provisional plan for Shared Learning Events (in the next 6 months) is:

This South Wales event is hosted by the Wales for Africa Health Links Network and Hub Cymru Africa. The event will be an opportunity for Wales-Africa health links to share their experiences and let others know what they are doing. There will be a presentation from the King's Partnership and Hub Cymru Africa will also provide training on communicating Wales - Africa activities effectively.

Anyone who is involved or interested in international health work (particularly in Africa) is welcome to attend. NHS workers and medical students are especially encouraged to attend.
