The Heritage Lottery funded ‘Wales for Peace’ project based in the Welsh Centre for International Affairs in partnership with the National Assembly for Wales and Ffotogallery, is organising a national schools’ conference in the Pierhead Building, Cardiff Bay on 20 September, 2017.

The conference is timed to coincide with the 14-18NOW Poppies Weeping Window and Photojournalist Lee Stowe’s “Poppies: Women, War and Peace” Exhibitions in the Senedd.  Participating schools will have the opportunity to visit these installations and use them as inspiration during conference workshops.
