CYMDEITHAS CENHENLOEDD UNEDIG / UNITED NATIONS ASSOCIATION Menai ​group - Open Meeting - all welcome

Linking with people and organisations who to meet the aim of “Campaigning and educating to make the ideals of the UN a reality”. The UN was formed in 1945 with a call from nations for there never to be another war, to maintain international peace and security, to develop friendly relations among nations, equal rights and international economic, social and cultural co-operation.  Currently 193 member states have signed up to the founding UN charter that provides the purpose and guiding principles for the work of the UN.  Today, the UN works globally through its organisation, programmes, funds and agencies on global peace and security, human rights, sustainable development, environment, climate change, disarmament, humanitarian, health, gender equality, children, refugees,​ international law and cultural issues.
