Wales at the World Championships

CEWC  ensures that Wales is represented at the World Schools Debating Championships each year. This global tournament includes over 45 national teams and takes place in a different country each year.

Team Wales comprises 4 debaters. CEWC has taken a Welsh team to the World Championships every year since 1991, and has twice reached the quarter-finals. Our parent body, the Welsh Centre for International Affairs, hosted the tournament in 1995 and 2006.
